Beaufort – Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC2) received an unexpected phone call from Washington this weekend relating to the ongoing investigation into his alleged ethics lapses.
“It was crazy,” said Wilson, “I was driving up to Chapin for the Labor Day parade when my phone rang — I figured it was another reporter calling about the ethics thing, but boy was I wrong.”
Wilson claims that the voice on the other end of the phone was none other than President Barack Hussein Obama.
“I swear it was him,” said Wilson. “I said ‘Hello,’ and the voice said something like ‘Hey, guess who… I heard you’re under investigation and you’re telling everyone it’s about a coffee mug… well, who’s lying now bitch?’ and then he laughed hysterically and hung up.”
“Unfortunately I can’t prove it was him and nobody else was listening, but if he thinks I’m still sending him that Ming vase I picked up on my last trip to China, he’s kidding himself.”
The White House would neither confirm nor deny Wilson’s story.
